A few months ago, we could have never imagined being in a position where a full-scale shutdown would be our current reality—or that we would be in a situation where schools are closed indefinitely and we would need to pause and shift the way we’re delivering our program to support students to and through their postsecondary path.

To continue this important work, we’re launching our Forward Together campaign to raise critical funds so OneGoal can maintain its support of our teachers and students now and in the new school year.

Why We're Doing This

Our students + teachers need help

  • Our students and their families are some of the hardest hit in this large-scale crisis.
  • With schools closed until further notice, our teams have pivoted to provide virtual support to our teachers who in turn are remotely supporting students.
  • In addition to losing valuable in-school learning, our Fellows are having to re-imagine the celebration of special milestones like their high school graduation, prom, College Signing Day, and senior season of athletics.
  • Unemployment rates are impacting our community, and some students find their plans to attend college completely upended.

We Can't Do This Without You

We need to eliminate our funding gap

With all events cancelled, we’ve lost access to some of our key levers for raising program funds. It’s critical that we make up those lost donations through this virtual fundraiser. All donations to this fundraiser are 100% tax deductible.

We even have a challenge grant that will match any new and increased donations toward our Chicago program!

Don't Just Take Our Word for It

OneGoal's impact in the time of COVID-19

“[My PD] Mr. Lenz has been texting our class to ask if we’re okay, and he’s still supporting us to make sure our financial aid is straight. He always says that if we need to talk, just let him know and he’ll be there on phone or video.”

“Most of the time, when we meet as a class we’re not talking about assignments; I’m checking in on them the way that OneGoal checks in on me. I want to know that my students are emotionally okay.”
