Each year, Student Summits held nationwide bring together OneGoal students for a day of learning and connecting with community members. The Metro Atlanta Student Summit is a day of inspiration and empowerment for our close to 650 OneGoal high school juniors and seniors. Held at Clayton State University, students will explore a variety of careers and postsecondary paths as they attend workshops with industry professionals, explore campus life, and attend an Opportunity Fair where students connect with colleges, technical schools, and other postsecondary programs.

For the second annual Atlanta Student Summit, we are bringing together OneGoal Fellows from Atlanta Public Schools and South Fulton to provide their input, help set up, and take on leadership roles during the day-long event.
OneGoal alum LaShanti Holland and OneGoal executive director Taylor Ramsey were guests on WABE’s “Close Look” with Rose Scott.
Students pursuing careers in tech, health care, cosmetology, or other skilled trade are exploring postsecondary alternatives to two- and four-year college. OneGoal Fellow Makayla Ransom sees vocational school as a stepping stone in her education and career journey.
