OneGoal-Massachusetts Welcomes Paras Bhayani, Vice President of Affiliate Investments at Affiliated Managers Group, to its Advisory Board
As a former public high school teacher, Mr. Bhayani is personally dedicated to the success of all students.
BOSTON, March 7, 2022. OneGoal-Massachusetts, an organization dedicated to closing the degree divide in the Commonwealth, has welcomed Paras Bhayani, Vice President of Affiliate Investments at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG), to its advisory board. As a board member, Mr. Bhayani will advise OneGoal on growth and scale strategy and resource growth and development, as it seeks to serve more students throughout the Commonwealth.
“Early in my career, I was a high school teacher in Chicago, where I saw the transformative impact that OneGoal was having on my students,” said Mr. Bhayani. “I am excited to bring my background and expertise to OneGoal-Massachusetts’ board, especially as they seek to grow their work throughout the state.”
In his current role, Mr. Bhayani is responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing AMG’s investments in its partner firms. Before joining AMG, he served as a Vice President at BlackRock, where he was a member of the investment team at BlackRock’s private equity fund, Long Term Private Capital. Mr. Bhayani also previously served as a Vice President on BlackRock’s Corporate Strategy and Development team. He joined BlackRock from McKinsey & Company’s Boston Office, where he worked on a wide range of projects across the investment management and private equity sectors.

Mr. Bhayani began his career in the public sector, serving as the budget director of the City of Chicago’s transit authority and as an 11th and 12th-grade teacher in Chicago via Teach For America. He is also deeply engaged with several charities, including as a board member for a chapter of Pratham, the largest non-governmental organization focused on education in India.
Mr. Bhayani earned his MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and his AB from Harvard College. He resides in Winchester with his wife, a primary care physician in Lawrence, and his daughter.
