Karla Robles

Chief Program Officer, OneGoal

Before joining OneGoal, Karla spent 13 years at the Be a Leader Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, where she focused on college access and success program management and community engagement. Karla’s collective experiences inspired her to join OneGoal and support the movement to ensure that underserved youth across the country have equitable access to an excellent education. Karla holds a bachelor’s degree in global business and marketing from Arizona State University and a Master of Public Administration from New York University in non-profit/public/organizational management.

Robert Emmons Jr.

Founding Director of Employer Engagement, National Louis University

Robert is the Founding Director of Employer Engagement at NLU and ran as a candidate to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Illinois’ 1st Congressional District. Robert is an alumnus of OneGoal and attended the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, where he received a BS in Political Science. He served as Manager of Program Innovation at OneGoal before running for office.

Jawon Mayberry

Cloud Platform Engineer, Allstate

Jawon Mayberry is a OneGoal – Chicago 2015 alumnus and graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, with a B.S. in Information Systems Technology. Since earning his postsecondary degree, Jawon has held several positions in the Information Technology field, and currently works as a Cloud Platform Engineer with Allstate. Jawon previously served as a OneGoal Fellow Ambassador and Senior Fellow Leader. In 2022, Jawon is moving back to Chicago from Charlotte North Carolina where he plans to grow his new business in the small events space.

Jaydeshia Lee

Rape Crisis Counselor, The Women’s Center

Jaydeshia Lee is a OneGoal – Chicago class of 2015 alumna and graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, with a B.A. in Psychology. Jaydeshia is currently seeking her Master of Science in Counseling and Rehabilitation while also working as a Rape Crisis Counselor for The Women’s Center, a nonprofit dedicated to women’s health.

Elizabeth Aldana

Eligibility Associate, The Montrose Center

Elizabeth Aldana is a 2017 OneGoal alum. After graduating from Westchester Academy for International Studies, Elizabeth attended Lone Star Community College where she received an Associate’s degree in Psychology. Currently, Elizabeth is working as an Eligibility Associate at The Montrose Center and is double majoring in Education and Psychology at The University of Houston.
